Overall Roles & Responsibilities Description The Controls Engineer will be responsible for developing control designs, machine logic, providing controls debug/startup assistance and supports the cost estimating process in regard to capital equipment and manufacturing tooling used in the fabrication and assembly of automotive (and non-automotive) components.

The Controls Engineer will be instrumental in the selection of controls architecture and components based on the customer provided RFQ / specifications and internally generated proposal process. In addition, the Controls Engineer will support the development of competitive estimates / proposals that generate profitable and winning projects.
